As an experiment, I voted yesterday using my old gym card as "ID". No hesitation even though it's 10 years old, I'm 75 lbs lighter, have a different hair color and yesterday wore dark shades. (ID looked nothing like me now). Sometimes ashamed to live in GA. S. in Atlanta. Sorry about your props in CA. Grr.

How much junk mail did I have to throw away? How many recorded phone calls did I get at 6:30pm? How many anoying comercials did I have to sit through? How many millions of dollars were spent on this election?

What was accomplished?

For people like me, it's easy to see things this way. I don't know much about politics. The general feeling I get when I think about the subject is too much money and too much corruption. It's easy to get frustrated when something you support is shot down and a whole lot of resources are wasted.

...but what keeps me encouraged is friends like Lores. People I know who really do care and are willing to pay the price time and time again just for that one chance to actually make things better.

Politics really is a battle and it's good to know there are some key people on the front lines.

Part of me wonders if enough money and enough comercials can buy any election... the other part of me hopes we'll get 'em next time.

Stacy: Yes. I can hardly believe it myself.

S in Atlanta: That's REALLY bad! Unfortunately, I'm not surprised.

luke: I understand your frustration. I do believe there should have been more work done and money spent to get out the base. This should not have happened. But, you're right, we will keep fighting. Not for Arnold but for the principles and values on which we stand! Don't give up, my friend!
